Job Description
About the Team
OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.
The social media team’s ethos is to support OpenAI's mission and goals by clearly and authentically explaining our technology, values, and approach to safely building powerful AI. Our team is passionate about educating others, and are focused on community engagement — creating pathways for people to help shape the future of AI and educating them about important technological developments that will impact their lives. About the Role
As Social Media Analyst, Rapid Response you will be responsible for continuous monitoring of social and media platforms for OpenAI and senior executive mentions, emerging narratives, and reputational risk.

Surface patterns and recurring narratives that may require proactive response or narrative strategy
Escalation and coordination
Flag emerging issues to the Strategic Response team with clear context, risk assessment, and recommended next steps
Track narrative evolution during active issues and identify inflection points requiring leadership awareness
Ensure executives and partners have visibility in real time
