What you’ll be doing...

Verizon Business is proud to be recognised as a global leader in delivering managed network and security solutions. Our acquisition sales teams are critical to the growth of our business through winning new customers.  You will be working  with large organisations to drive transformation and help them to move their business forward through the use of technology. The role will require building credibility as a trusted advisor. Utilising a consultative approach, you’ll expertly package the products and services that we can offer to craft tailored solutions that meet our customer’s needs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Selling solutions and services delivered by Verizon to prospective, new logo customers.

  • Working with multinational businesses that are headquartered in the UK and Ireland.

  • Understanding and evaluating industry, business and customer trends to build strategic plans that drive sales.

  • Leveraging our Go-to-Market strategy to build unique, tailored outreach that establishes value and positions us as useful before clients recognise a need.

  • Developing strong working relationships with your customers at all levels up to the C-suite, to understand their businesses, the markets they operate in, and the challenges that they face.

  • Crafting solutions to help customers realize their goals.

  • Demonstrating the strength of our offering and the value we bring.

What we’re looking for...

You are someone that enjoys creating new working relationships and digging deep, to really understand the customer’s vision along with their unique situation and challenges. You like putting things together in new and creative ways, to best solve the customer’s most pressing needs. You’re engaging and can communicate in a way that generates customer excitement.

You'll need to have:

  • Experience of engaging with clients at C-level and selling technology based solutions to multinational businesses.

  • Experience of  winning new, large enterprise customers.

  • Experience of leading cross functional teams in pursuit of sales opportunities.

  • A valid driving licence.

  • Willingness to travel as the role requires (expected to be 25-50% of the time).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience in solution selling and winning transformational business from large, multinational organisations.

  • A background that has involved selling network, cloud computing, security, CCaaS and associated professional services.

  • A knowledge of advanced network and cyber security concepts, including SASE.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively position new ideas.

  • A history of consistently achieving sales targets and objectives.

  • Strong discovery and opportunity qualification skills.

  • Strong commercial awareness and technology industry knowledge.
