Position Overview:

You will be responsible for supporting and continuously improving international outbound finished goods logistics operations to ensure products are delivered to international customers on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality expectations. In this role, you will coordinate production schedules, inventory plans, logistics providers, ocean carriers, and international business partners to execute export shipments and manage supply chain performance. • Manage end-to-end export logistics operations, including transportation from manufacturing facilities, third-party logistics coordination, vehicle crating activities, container loading, vessel bookings, and shipment execution.
  • Collaborate with international sales, inventory planning, trade compliance, logistics providers, ocean carriers, and business partners to resolve constraints and maintain service commitments.
  • Proactively manage export order fulfillment by analyzing demand, inventory positions, shipment status, and transportation capacity to identify risks and implement recovery actions.
  • Monitor and analyze key logistics performance metrics, including shipment performance, export lead times, container utilization, inventory aging, transportation costs, and damage claims.
  • Manage third-party logistics provider and carrier performance through service reviews, issue resolution, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement process improvements that increase transportation efficiency, improve shipment visibility, reduce cycle times, and support cost and service objectives.
  • Coordinate the management of returnable shipping assets by monitoring inventory levels, supporting equipment availability, and optimizing transportation costs.
  • Provide operational support for domestic finished goods transportation by monitoring shipment execution and assisting with service recovery efforts during periods of increased demand or capacity constraints.

Desired Competencies:

  • Collaboration: You work effectively with others across functions and levels, contributing to shared goals while respecting different perspectives.
  • Problem Solving: You identify issues, assess root causes, and implement practical solutions that balance speed, quality, and risk.
  • Planning & Organization: You manage time, resources, and priorities effectively to meet deadlines and deliver consistent results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in international logistics, supply chain, customs, import/export operations, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating logistics operations, transportation activities, or supply chain processes in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience driving process improvements and supporting cost reduction initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using logistics systems, transportation systems, or analytics tools preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business conditions, and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
