Group Summary:

As part of Magna International, Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars, specializing in plug-in hybrids. At Magna, you will be part of an international, dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality products and shaping the future of mobility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift to load/unload and move materials.
  • Management of goods and means of transport, movements of goods (physical and ERP side).
  • Picking materials of all material types.
  • Physical inventories
  • Remove empties and waste from production line
  • Report of transport damages, over deliveries, shortage and deviations of the delivery papers
  • Compliance with packaging regulations
  • Caring for the forklift (charge battery, arrange maintenance and repairs)
  • Warehouse management: parking space control, stocktaking, notification of exceptional stocks to supervisor.
  • Perform staging of product.
  • Assist Shipping/Receiving Clerk with preparation of all paperwork related to shipments.
  • Handling of returnable packaging (loading, unloading, exclude defective packaging …)

Job Requirements:

  • A GED or High School equivalent or at least 5 years of experience as a material handler or a combination of education and experience
  • At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift, prefer experience with stand-up and sit down.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive
  • Proficient computer skills
