Wednesdays 0800-2130 and Fridays 0800-1630 and when the nurses go on vacation. Partial Psychiatric Hospitalization Program M-F 0800-1630 working with a multidisciplinary team RN's, Psychiatrists, LCSW, OT completing BH Screenings for PHP, Behavioral Health Assessments, monitoring medication and facilitating and co-facilitating process group.

Where You Will Work: Partial Hospitalization Program-Intensive Outpatient Program. Adults Wide range of diagnoses, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric conditions. Teamwork, high emphasis on building therapeutic relationships with patients. Highly desired skills include communication, hard-working, multi-tasking, engagement. Collaborative.
We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Add additional preferred qualifications Minimum 1 year of RN experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
- CPI de-escalation certification preferred
What You’ll Do:
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- Duties will include monitor medication, BH Health Intake I & II including Nutrition Screening, Pain Management, Patient Safety Assessment, Safety Plan, treatment modalities of group processes, initial certification/authorization of insurance, , care documentation, interdisciplinary team treatment planning, 1 to 1 patient communication, advocating for patient needs.
