Job Description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Regional Manager to join our team in Tucker, GA.


Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, additional days and hours may be required

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of a region that include supervisors and phlebotomists working in a patient service center and/or client office locations

  • · Work closely with large accounts to support operational services through phlebotomy

  • · Recruit and train team members, support the general manager as well as conduct performance appraisals.

  • · Set performance objectives

  • Ensure patient flow, wait times, inventory levels are being properly maintained

  • Ensure productivity and efficiency levels are being properly maintained.

  • Achieve business goals and revenue targets.

  • Ensure regular and timely completion of periodic inspections of patient service centers

  • Assist in the setting up of new patient service centers

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to supervisory staff.

  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relations.

  • Ensure all policies and procedures are updated and implemented in each territory in compliance with state and federal regulations and company guidelines.

  • Ensure company standards and procedures are followed.

  • Plan, evaluate, and optimize operations to be efficient and cost-effective.

  • Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary.

  • Resolve any client related matters or customer complaints appropriately.

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual statements, analyses, and reports on operations and finances.

  • Report on any performance, compliance or staffing related issues and work with the appropriate departments toward resolution.

  • Perform operational duties such as payroll and monthly schedules.

  • Assist in the setup of new Patient Service Centers and/or client offices

  • Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed

  • Travel to additional sites as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent

  • 5 or more years Phlebotomy experience

  • 7 years or more supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree

  • 8 years or more phlebotomy experience

  • 9 years or more supervisory experience in phlebotomy or healthcare

  • 9 years or more management experience overseeing a large team of 100+

Additional Job Standards:

  • In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

  • Knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques

  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage and mentor a team

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation

  • Experience with MS Office programs

  • Be at least 21 years’ old

LabCorp seek a results driven Phlebotomy Manager to oversee the Phlebotomy teams in Region.  This position will be responsible for ensuring a large (20+) client base of physician offices as well as Patient Service Centers are maintained and serviced appropriately.

Confirm Eligibility with Director The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers. Compensation may also include discretionary short and long term incentive packages.
