About the context
The D365 ‘HERO’ Programme is a multi-year global transformation programme in Finance & Operations implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 in the Regional Chanel ecosystem. HERO aims to harmonise multiple regional ERPs existing globally, while respecting our divisional operating models and métier specificities. It will create a standardized, single unified solution, based on the Microsoft SaaS D365 F&O platform.

Your role @ Chanel
As a Dynamics 365 Business analyst, part of the D365 Solution Centre, you’ll support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for core Finance and operations processes (mainly O2C, S2P and R2R). You’ll help translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, with end-to-end ownership of Functional Design Documents (FDD), and contribute to the success of the transformation program.
You will be part of the D365 Solution Centre but equally be a strong contributor to the Finance / Ops Product owner which manages the overall end-to-end ecosystem in a Best-of-breed architecture with various Global Tier 1 systems connecting into D365.

Technical and Functional Expertise:
- Assist with design and documentation for Finance and Operations processes in D365, gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Responsible for writing, maintaining and owning functional design specifications (FDD) including integration with other systems, considering the whole application ecosystem
- Define data flow mapping (interfaces), integration principles (system owning the data, transformation rules …)
- Define and execute test plan for SAT and prepare test datasets, supporting SIT / UAT defect triage and implementation readiness.
- Responsible for setups and configurations of the system
- Support Go live cutover and data migration
- Provide post go-live hypercare support by monitoring issues, coordinating incident resolution, and capturing improvements for backlog prioritisation.
- Provide functional input to create clear, detailed and auditable documentation for end-users and administrators
Collaboration:
- Work closely with Domain lead and technical teams to ensure business language is translated into implementable requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and support dedicated domain streams
- Participate in functional workshops with domain leads supporting Finance and Operations throughout discovery, design and decision-making.
- Support training activities for new systems and help document processes
Continuous Improvement:
- Help resolve issues and support change requests.
- Contribute to Domain reporting and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Dynamics 365 and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
- Engage closely with Microsoft Fast track, Product team on support incidents and bring concrete use case to enhanced D365 out of the box
- Get mobilize on some critical bugs and change request
- Ensure consistency in documentation relative to D365 Core Model.
What you will bring:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree
- 2-5 years of work experience in Microsoft D365 (Finance – Supply Chain module preferred)
- Acquaintance with system design and integration
- Familiarity with other Dynamics 365 modules (e.g., CRM, HR, Supply Chain Management) and/or other Finance or supply chain applications (e.g. Coupa, Concur, WMS, OMS) is considered as a plus
Skills:
Business Analysis:
- Ability to gather, analyse business requirements for finance / Supply chain processes and translate business needs into clear functional specifications for IT solutions.
- Ownership of Functional Design Documents (FDD): authoring, versioning, stakeholder validation and sign-off.
- Requirements traceability from business need → FDD → build → test cases, including clear acceptance criteria.
Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with system design, configuration, and data migration tasks.
- Ability to assist with testing, troubleshooting, and supporting system deployments
- Test design skills: writing test scenarios/cases, preparing test evidence, and supporting regression testing.
- SAT- SIT facilitation and defect triage: coordinating Tier1 system owner, logging issues, prioritising, and supporting re-tests.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to Dynamics 365 design and build.
- Analyse data to spot inconsistencies
Communication and collaboration
- Good written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Work effectively with team members, business users, and IT colleagues.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions
- Experience in an international context and culture.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a changing environment.
- Passion for user-centricity, leveraging design thinking and agile methodologies.
- Process-driven and pragmatic approach to supporting the business
- Fluent in English & French
Optional Skills and Experience:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations
- MB-310: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance – Supply chain Functional Consultant
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall.
- Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar
- Experience with tools like Power BI or SSRS for reporting and analysis as well as Business performance analytics and Fabric workspace
- Microsoft certified is an added advantage.
