Job Description
PawDoc Surgery + Dental is expanding to meet the needs of our communities, providing emergency-level medicine in an urgent care setting at a pace and schedule designed to support both exceptional patient care and the well-being of our team.
This role is ideal for:
- Emergency veterinarians ready to step away from the intensity of overnight or high-acuity ER shifts.
- Experienced general practitioners eager to broaden their scope in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Newer veterinarians seeking hands-on experience outside of general practice, with growth opportunities in a supportive culture.
At PawDoc, we’re building high-functioning teams to create a sustainable, well-run hospital. Our leadership is committed to an employee-first culture where every voice is valued. With guidance from a strong network of local specialists, our teams are equipped to deliver outstanding urgent care without sacrificing balance
We’re looking for a team of kind, capable professionals who show up for each other and our clients. Collaboration replaces hierarchy, mentorship comes without micromanagement, and every team member matters.
What We’re Looking For
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- Interest in urgent care, emergency medicine, or building clinical confidence
- Strong diagnostic skills with an adaptable, thoughtful approach to patient care
- Excellent communication with clients and support staff
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
Our compensation package includes starting base salary of $140,000, along with sign-on and relocation bonuses available. We offer a great benefits package including, but not limited to: health insurance (vision, medical, dental, health savings/flexible spending), life and disability insurance, 401K with company contribution, PTO, generous CE allowance with additional PTO allotted, reimbursement for membership dues and license fees, and more.
Lakefield Veterinary Group is a family-owned organization dedicated to supporting local hospitals while allowing them to maintain their unique culture. Our commitment extends beyond our hospitals. Through our partnership with World Vets, we make a difference worldwide by providing care to pets in underserved areas.
