The Vocational segment includes market leading brands McNeilus, Oshkosh S-Series, IMT, Pierce, MAXIMETAL, Oshkosh Airport Products, and Frontline Communications. Our purpose-built products serve our communities with carefully designed and engineered refuse trucks, front-discharge mixer trucks, fire apparatus, Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting trucks, service vehicles, and command trucks. The Marketing Specialist creates excitement, awareness and preference for multiple brands within the company’s Vocational segment through meaningful communications, storytelling, events and brand alignment. The Marketing Specialist will create digital content, campaigns and events designed to engage various audiences and spotlight the company’s culture, products, technologies, services and lifecycle solutions. This team member will work collaboratively with marketing colleagues, functional teams, customers and external partners.
YOUR IMPACT:

Write, create and edit external communication elements such as speaking notes, blog posts, social media posts, case studies, eNewsletters, email marketing campaigns, advertisements, specification sheets, etc.
Support a world-class customer experience for company events ensuring communication content development, application and execution.
Support the development of product, technology and company focused videos and animations for various digital platforms.
Lead and manage photo and video shoots as needed including developing shot lists and ensuring safety standards are met.
Assist in website content development, SEO and SEM campaign creation and execution, AEO strategies and long-term channel maximization strategies.
Uphold brand standards across all digital and print touchpoints.
Monitor and measure the impact and effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Support multiple projects with competing and conflicting timelines and priorities.
Collaborate with marketing colleagues, other functional groups, customers, agency partners and consultants to support overall business and department objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
2+ years of experience.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings.
Duties are largely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.
Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required, along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.

Pay Range:
$57,600.00 - $90,400.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
