What we do at Weir
We are a global leader in mining technology for a sustainable future. We help our customers extract the resources the world needs more efficiently and more sustainably. Our planet’s future depends on the transition to renewable energy, and that transition can only happen with the metals and minerals our customers deliver. So, we work side by side with mines across the globe to move less rock, use less energy, use water wisely, and create less waste. Together, we drive the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.

Make your impact
You’ll play a key role in solving real-world challenges. You’ll apply your skills to deliver results that matter whether that’s through engineering, planning or customer support. You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.

What you’ll do
⦿ Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end SAP ECC implementation for Townley, managing detailed project plans, schedules, risks, and budgets. ⦿ Business Integration & Process Alignment: Facilitate workshops to align Townley’s business processes with Weir’s SAP Global Template. Drive business readiness activities including process design, testing, cutover planning, and hypercare support. Ensure business requirements are met and escalate process gaps for resolution.
⦿ Data Migration & Testing: Oversee master data preparation, migration planning, validation, and sign-off. Manage System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and cutover readiness to minimize operational disruption during go-live.
⦿ Stakeholder Management: Act as primary liaison for project stakeholders, facilitating governance meetings and communicating progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership. Build strong relationships across operational, finance, and IT teams.
⦿ Change Management & Training: Partner with change management teams to drive user adoption and organizational readiness. Coordinate training plans and communication strategies to prepare employees for new SAP processes. Ensure readiness for go-live and post-implementation support.
⦿ Vendor & Resource Coordination: Manage relationships with SAP partners, system integrators, and consultants. Coordinate activities between local teams, regional SAP experts, and external resources to meet quality and governance standards.
⦿ Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
