Role Summary/Purpose:
AVP, Co-Brand & Enterprise Lifecycle Marketing Analytics (Individual Contributor) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH). The role will deliver on business and organizational priorities for Lifecycle Marketing, solve business problems with solutions that are powered by data and analytics. The model candidate must be a thought leader, hands on problem solver who can deliver actionable insights on Lifecycle Marketing Initiatives across the business, recommend best practices and solutions that drive better customer experience and improve Marketing ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Business Impact through Advanced Analytics
Identify opportunities to drive revenue growth, consumer engagement, and key portfolio outcomes.
Lead high-impact analytics initiatives across the customer lifecycle for existing customers (acquisition, engagement, spend, loyalty, and retention)
Translate compiled data into actionable insights that influence business decision-making
Parter with External CoBrand Clients
Serve as a strategic analytics advisor to CoBrand partners
Influence partner strategy through data storytelling, performance insights, and opportunity identification
Own End-to-End Delivery of Analytics
Oversee development of dashboards, models, and tools that proactively surface insights and drive profitable campaign decisions.
Ensure scalable, automated, and efficient analytics processes.
Identify algorithmic innovations and adjustments that improve run-time, augment code structure, and improve results deployment.
Identify errors, bugs, and other code related challenges that will help accelerate our ability to meet partner demand.
Champion Data Driven Decisioning
Promote best practices in analytics, experimentation, and measurement
Establish frameworks for KPI tracking, performance measurement, and ROI optimization
Required skills & Knowledge:
Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 6+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience (Distance learning not valid), or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in SQL/SAS with ability to leverage advanced algorithms and be efficient in handling complex/large data
Minimum 2+ years of solving open-ended business analytics questions independently
Minimum 2+ years of designing and building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI
1+ years of experience presenting to senior leaders and stakeholders
Should have experience working with cross-functional teams on business problems. Ability to translate complex analytical/statistical techniques into a simple language that cross-functional teams would easily understand.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to collaborate, articulate and present solutions cutting across functional teams in a simple yet compelling manner
Background in customer lifecycle marketing campaign analytics (acquisition, spend, retention, loyalty, segmentation analysis, proper test & control setup, etc.)
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
Analytics experience on CoBrand or Partner-based credit portfolios
2+ Years of experience in project management with ability to independently formulate objectives, lay out key milestones, deliver with high accuracy
Proven ability to scale analytics solutions and reduce time to market.
Knowledge of latest tools and techniques with ability to build proof of concepts rapidly
Eligibility Criteria:

Work Timings:
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
