This position is based in our satellite production facility in Midland, TX, with full relocation provided (details below).

Position Summary

We’re hiring a Technician I (Production, Assembly, QV Solar Panels) is responsible for performing assembly and production tasks in support of satellite system manufacturing. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow standardized work instructions, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. The position supports manufacturing operations by assembling components, handling materials, and ensuring products meet established quality and performance standards.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $24–$27/hour based on experience, with overtime opportunities. Higher-level roles are available for more experienced candidates at increased pay.
• Schedule: Standard shift is Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (3x12's) with paid lunch and breaks.
• Flexibility: Night and weekend shifts with increased pay are also available depending on experience and team needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Assemble satellite subcomponents and production parts in accordance with work instructions and engineering specifications
• Sort, stage, and organize materials on tables, racks, or bins
• Use hand tools, fixtures, and measuring/test equipment to complete assembly tasks
• Clean, package, and prepare completed assemblies for storage or shipment
• Pack, seal, label, and move materials and finished goods as required
• Handle small parts and components requiring manual dexterity

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 years of experience in:
• Wire harness assembly preferred
• Electrical/mechanical assembly preferred
• Manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks with attention to detail
• Ability to meet production and quality expectations
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring devices, and basic mechanical processes
• Experience working in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing settings

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to perform repetitive and precision tasks.
• Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as required to perform job duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively, including talking and hearing.
• Ability to work in, on, around, and in proximity to large structures, equipment, and tooling.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or carry items up to 40 pounds as required.
• Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and equipment.
• Ability to work in and around tight or confined spaces.
• Ability to work in environments that may include exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and/or hazardous materials (e.g., carbon fiber).

Relocation Support (If You Accept)
