Associate Account Specialist - Business Electrification Programs  

Location: AZ99 - Must reside in Phoenix Metro Area

Our programs support the sustainability goals of our utility client and its business customers by identifying and supporting electrification-based decarbonization opportunities for buildings, industrial facilities, transportation, and fleets. The Associate Account Specialist will provide support for the Program Manager, Account Specialists, Trade Ally network, and other program participants.

What you will be doing: 

  • Provide support for the Program Manager, Account Specialists, and Trade Ally Network  
  • Maintain ongoing communications with various stakeholders including participating contractors, customers, and internal teams 
  • Clarify and resolve or escalate stakeholder concerns related to program participation, as necessary  
  • Assist the Account Specialists with entering and tracking projects with the project management software system 
  • Become a subject matter expert on our CRM including generating pipeline reports on current opportunities and stages of project progression 
  • Assist with marketing, outreach, meetings, and event planning as needed 
  • Collaborate with local program portfolio and national teams to provide cohesiveness and bring efficiency & best practices to our client’s programs 
  • Monitor adherence to program plans and schedules, identify program problems and suggest solutions, and support overall continuous improvement of our programs  
  • Support and track trade ally enrollment 
  • Assist technical teams to ensure QA/QC standards for the program are met 

 
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):  

  • Bachelor’s degree (one year of professional experience may be substituted for one year of education) 
  • 1+ years of experience working in sales/outreach, electrification, energy efficiency or demand response programs; or consulting projects for utilities, state energy offices, state/local governments, and/or regional non-profits, OR related work experience. 

What we would like you to have (preferred skills): 

  • Experience working on utility electrification programs. 
  • Prior experience working with Salesforce CRM. 
  • Familiarity with electric vehicles and EV charging. 
  • A curiosity and interest in technology and practices related to decarbonization.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) 
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills  
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.  
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.  
  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team.  
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.  
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$50,364.00 - $85,618.00
