MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The junior PMO mission is to support the management of the Aerostructures German programmes through the definition and application of related management processes, methods, tools, skills and competencies applying AIRBUS programme management standards.
The junior PMO is acting as Project management support in order to navigate, co-pilot and support the Programme manager on German Programmes in the Aerostructure Transformation.
The Junior PMO manager is responsible for the following activities for the Aerostructures German Programmes:
- Leading Project Management Office activities for the Aerostructure Transformation by implementing Project Management standards (MP.MP BMS source domain) to perform PMO tasks appropriately included but not limited to the following management processes in a consistent way across the different sites and legal entities:
- Propose, align, establish and run governance
- Align different ways of working in all Programmes
- Workload and HC planning, including establishing driver models
- Work on understanding the differences in finance governance models and align them to prepare an aligned view of total cost of acquisition leading ultimately to a target costing model
- Analyse Bill of material of all programmes to identify aerostructures workshare
- Contribute to or establish a consistent monthly Performance Dialogue
- Defining and maintaining the Governance of the Aerostructures German Programme Management.
- Integrated planning, monitoring and administrative tasks which are necessary for a proper project management.
- Ensuring that all contractual and technical requirements are inside the project executing plans (in close cooperation with Customer Contract Manager and the Technical Manager).
- Preparing data and reports required to monitor status of the Transformation projects.
- Providing quantitative and qualitative data to support discussions and decision making at Programme Management level
- Acting as R&O coordinator for the German Aerostructures Programmes for the following activities:
- Interface with the Aerostructures programmes R&O officer
- Create and Maintain risk and opportunities in ARM
- Create and Maintain project planning in UP
- Generate Requested Reports
Mandatory Skills
- Experience in Project Management
- Fluid in German and English Language (Writing and speaking)
- Knowledge about Air Power industrial activities, including aerostructures and the link between FALs, MRO, and Aerostructures
- Experience in working in a transnational environment (Spanish/German/(Polish))
- Fluid Management Google Workspace Tools
- Fluid Management on Collaborative Tools (Google Drive) and PMO Tools (ARM, UP)
Optional Skills
- Operational Management experience will be positively valued
Certifications
- PM internal and/or PMI certification not mandatory but would be considered a plus.
