Job Description

You will provide financial guidance and strategic analysis to drive change and execution in given SBU and location. This position manages financial channel activities including the monthly closing cycle, reporting, building weekly/monthly estimates and the development of the annual plan.  You will be reporting directly to SBU COE Director.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support SBU finance and business teams  

  • insightful analysis of the numbers and scenario modelling for business decision

  • Responsible for all reporting for SBU and location as well as the calculations of key metrics 

  • Monthly closing process - coordinate activities to ensure results are accurate and explainable 

  • Analyze, interpret and communicate monthly financial results to SBU finance including deviation analysis, explanation of performance drivers/opportunities and key metric reporting  

  • Support SBU finance in preparation and presentation of monthly P&Ls including overview of account profitability

  • Provide any ad hoc analysis as required by business stakeholders of various levels including customer profitability, margin analysis, contract analysis, etc 

  • Planning, preparation, and implementation of the annual budget process

  • Works with business to develop ACTs  

  • Support ad-hoc projects and work as required 

Qualifications 

  • The candidate must hold a relevant degree and a recognized professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA / ACCA / ACA 

  • Minimum 4 years of experience and commercially aware, ideally with in a commercial working environment 

  • Able to work without close supervision and use their own initiative 

  • Good inter-personal skills such as the ability to build good working relationships 

  • Team player with an eagerness to learn and grow 

  • Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize, manage time and work under pressure

  • Diligent and strong ability to deal with priorities

  • Good knowledge of MS Office, specialist in Excel 

  • Exposure to PPG IT systems (HFM, SAP, Oracle) 

  • Multiple language skills such as English / Mandarin is required
