Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for:

SENIOR FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (in Financial Reporting and Compliance team)

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Riga, Latvia 

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided) 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Perform cost analysis and track performance of various fuel related deals
• Analyze financials, including P&L, and provide timely reviews with focus on fuel gross profit
• Assist is securing the correctness and completeness of P&L and drive corrective actions when necessary – prepare accruals, adjustments and reclassifications
• Support in preparation of monthly and quarterly Management reporting, including accompanying variance analysis and comments on business performance 
• Ensure integrity of financial results through ERP system set-ups and identify/correct system issues as necessary
• Play a part in providing relevant and timely financial information to various stakeholders
• Understand accounting impacts to areas of responsibility that could affect financial performance
• Continuously seek to improve efficiency, reliability and integrity of management reporting process and deliverables
• Participate in projects, perform ad hoc analysis and other tasks as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Solid Experience (3+ years) in financial controlling or audit field, preferably within an international environment
• Good computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel, PowerBI) and general understanding of ERP systems
• Curious and inquisitive about the results generated
• Autonomous / Able to work with little supervision
• Ability to work within tight deadlines
• Accurate and detailed-oriented
• Good communication skills, positive and pro-active attitude
• Understands the values, culture and environment of Circle K and the assigned team
