Job Description
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult Social Worker to join its client’s Contact & Assessment team, based in Cardiff.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Assist individuals to resolve major difficulties in their lives and enhance their independence and coping skills
- Work within current legislation and Council policies, procedures, and practices
- Assess, commission, and review services, including planned interventions, for a specific client group
- Operate within statutory guidance and policy/procedural frameworks to help protect individuals who are at risk or vulnerable
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have:

Professional Qualification: MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW

Registration: Must be registered with Social Care Wales

Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ post‑qualified experience in a statutory setting

Legislation Knowledge: Strong understanding of:
- Mental Health Act 1983
- Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Social Services and Well‑being (Wales) Act 2014
- Safeguarding procedures
- Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010

Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (often required for community visits)
