Responsibilities:

Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards. Manage and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance and support. Monitor production metrics, including output, quality, and efficiency, and implement improvements as needed. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies. Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and logistics, to resolve production issues and optimize processes. Train and develop production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders and shift reports. Participate in planning meetings to discuss production schedules and capacity planning. Implement and enforce lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Assist in the preparation and management of the production budget.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong understanding of production processes and equipment. Proficiency in using production management software and tools. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
