At Four Seasons Hotel Nashville, the Pool Server brings the Rooftop & Pool experience to life by delivering thoughtful, engaging service and detailed knowledge of all food and beverage offerings. This role ensures guests enjoy a seamless, elevated poolside dining experience in a relaxed yet luxurious environment.
What you will do
- Provide detailed, engaging descriptions of all food and beverage items, including ingredients, flavors, and preparation methods.
- Enter guest orders into the point‑of‑sale system accurately, communicating special requests to the culinary team and ensuring proper timing and delivery.
- Compare completed kitchen orders with the original guest order and deliver items promptly to maintain food quality and presentation.
- Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, offer recommendations, and respond swiftly and professionally to concerns or requests.
- Properly close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and ensure accurate handling of voids and complimentary items.
- Regularly walk the pool areas to offer amenities, refreshments, and support guest comfort.
- Collaborate harmoniously with coworkers and supervisors and uphold all Four Seasons Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
- Assist with guest greeting and seating during peak business periods.
What you bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of food service or related hospitality experience.
- Ability to carry and balance trays safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in processing payments and using point‑of‑sale systems.
- Reading, writing, and verbal proficiency in English.
- A warm, service‑oriented approach aligned with Four Seasons standards.
