In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the organization’s vision and strategic direction. Each day, you will define, manage, and monitor processes to meet requirements for Information Systems (IS) services by planning, measuring, and improving all aspects of IS services. You will also showcase your expertise by being a key resource, a definitive source of knowledge processes, to contribute to enhancing organizational effectiveness.

the ABB IT Service Continuity framework by coordinating with key stakeholders such as application owners , managers and service owners to ensure they adhere to the standards. The role involves conducting awareness activities, performing follow-ups, and preparing reports. Additionally, the analyst will assist in maintaining and improving the ITSCM process to achieve the appropriate maturity level.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Business Impact and Disaster Recovery assessment for Applications:
Support Business owners to complete the Business Impact assessments and gather the requirements for Disaster recovery for their applications and services.
- Continuity Strategy Implementation:
Ensure all applications follow the IT Service Continuity standard and support in preparing Disaster Recovery runbooks for datacenter sites, cloud regions as well as individual applications and services.
- Design Recovery strategies and Standards: Collaborate with architects and technical teams to design technical designs for DR solutions that can be implemented across technologies as standard. Create templates for DR plans, Business continuity plans and communications plans.
- Organize Testing and exercising DR plans: You will design the testing plan for individual applications and/or services as well as plan overall tabletop exercise for the datacenters to identify and mitigate gaps. Coordinate such tests with external support vendors responsible for the delivery.
- Compliance and Audit Support: You will support internal and external audit for IT resiliency topics as well as any security assessment for Business such as ISO 27001.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to achiever ABB’s overall IT resiliency objectives such as Business area infrastructure leads, Crisis leaders and Information security leads.
- Run Awareness campaigns and Trainings: You will run forums for the Business and IT application owners to raise awareness of the process as well as maintain internal E-learning courses for all Information services community.
- Coordinate any actual Recovery Efforts: In case of any real incident or a crisis, organize and coordinate with recovery teams , major incident teams or crisis management teams.

Qualifications for the role:
- Minimum 8 years of IT Operations experience with at least 3 years of Specialized experience in IT Service Continuity, DR operation or Business Continuity.
- Knowledge about databases, operating systems, container services and Cloud technology and their DR options.
- Fundamental knowledge about Azure and Google Cloud PaaS and SaaS services their resiliency options.
- Technical understandings on High Availability, redundancy backup and recovery.
- Designing and maintaining continuity plans, DR runbooks, Business Impact assessments.
- Experience in running Disaster Recovery drills and tabletop exercises.
- Able to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders using non-technical language.
- Professional certification such as ITIL or CBCI will be advantage.
