What You'll Be Doing
- Monitor and control plant operations using computerized systems to ensure safe, efficient, and high quality production
- Adjust process controls and respond promptly to alarms or operating changes to maintain product quality and stability
- Meet production targets while upholding all safety, quality, and operational standards
- Communicate and coordinate with field personnel to manage production activities, troubleshoot issues, and optimize plant performance
- Perform routine system checks, document operating data, report equipment or process concerns, and support continuous improvement initiatives
What Are We Looking For
- Ability to operate, monitor, and adjust computerized control systems with a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational reliability
- High attention to detail and situational awareness in fast paced environments, with the ability to accurately interpret operational data
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to make timely, informed decisions in real time
- Clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with plant operations and maintenance teams
- Ability to learn plant processes, equipment, and operating procedures, supported by one year post secondary education and preference for prior centralized control room experience
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post off er pre employment physical examination and background check.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
