The Creative Studio is Anthropic’s in-house creative team responsible for the brand expression across Anthropic and Claude. About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Brand Designer to define how our brand is expressed internally, bringing the same creative ambition to our internal culture that we bring to our public presence. The Brand Design team introduces what's new and what's next, and this role extends that mandate inward: you'll create the breakthrough creative moments that shape how our company experiences itself, then build the systems that let those ideas scale.

This is a craft leadership position on a small, high-leverage team. We're looking for someone with the creative judgment to spot the opportunities that become defining internal moments, and the systematic thinking to turn those moments into lasting impact and infrastructure. The breakthroughs demonstrate the judgment; the systems that follow are what make the impact durable.

Reporting to the Head of Brand Design, you'll own the creative direction for Anthropic's internal brand experience, from flagship company events and launch celebrations to the week-to-week communications that keep our team connected. You'll partner closely with internal communications and workplace teams while working as a peer alongside the rest of the Brand Design team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and create breakthrough creative moments for internal audiences, developing the concepts and executions that define how Anthropic's culture looks and feels at its best
  • Develop a distinctive internal design language that carries a unique Anthropic identity through every touchpoint, ensuring our internal expression is as intentional as our external presence
  • Translate those breakthroughs into scalable systems, templates, and design language that teams across the company can use to maintain that standard independently
  • Design across a wide range of formats and surfaces, from company events and environmental design to merch, communications, and emerging formats like podcasts and pop-up experiences
  • Partner with internal communications to reimagine how internal moments are promoted and experienced, bringing proactive creative vision to formats like forums, podcasts, launch celebrations, and whatever comes next
  • Support and enable people across Anthropic who want to generate their own creative assets, bringing a generous and collaborative spirit to shepherding great work

You may be a good fit if you

  • Have 6+ years of brand design experience with an outstanding portfolio that demonstrates both creative ambition and versatility across a broad range of formats and contexts
  • Lead with creative ideas and have a track record of producing breakthrough work that sets a new standard, then building the systems that help others reach it
  • Have strong cultural intuition and can quickly calibrate on what makes a particular company's internal culture tick, then bring unexpected creative ideas that feel right for that context
  • Are a true generalist who thrives on variety, equally comfortable designing an event environment, a piece of merch, or a presentation
  • Have a collaborative and generous working style, and genuinely enjoy helping others level up their own creative output
  • Think beyond what you can personally produce, finding ways to multiply your impact through systems and external partnerships
  • Balance creative ambition with practical constraints in a fast-moving environment where new needs and formats emerge regularly
