You will also showcase your expertise by deploying and leading projects to improve and sustain local business performance.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Production Line Planning & Improvement: a. Participate in the optimization of on-site production processes, apply basic Industrial Engineering (IE) tools (5W1H, ECRS, motion study, time study, etc.) to identify production line bottlenecks, improve production efficiency, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and per capita output, and reduce waste in the production process (labor, materials, time, etc.). b. Be responsible for the planning and optimization of production layout, rationally design workshop workflows, equipment placement and material flow paths, enhance workshop space utilization, optimize material distribution efficiency, and lower handling costs. c. Participate in capacity and takt time design, balance the capacity of each process based on order demand, formulate reasonable production takt time standards, coordinate and resolve issues of unbalanced production line takt time, and ensure orderly production.
  • Continuous Improvement (CI): a. Guide all departments to identify pain points for improvement (cost, efficiency, quality, processes, etc.) and formulate improvement plans, assist departments in achieving annual continuous improvement targets, and promote the full CI workflow including project initiation, implementation, reporting and effect tracking. b. Conduct enterprise-wide CI culture development and training, organize training on CI tools (such as 5W1H, ECRS, value stream mapping) and sharing sessions of excellent improvement cases, enhance the awareness and capability of all staff in continuous improvement, and foster an atmosphere of "everyone participates in improvement, and optimization is pursued in everything". c. Implement the CI incentive mechanism, organize the evaluation of improvement achievements, and commend excellent proposals and individuals to mobilize the enthusiasm of all staff for participation in improvement.
  • Digital Demand Consultant for Production Lines: a. Conduct in-depth on-site research to understand business pain points of production lines in production scheduling, data collection, equipment management, quality traceability, cost control and other links, guide relevant departments to put forward clear digital demands, and support the preparation of development requirement specifications. b. Combined with actual production line business scenarios, integrate digital tools such as MES, E-SOP, Data Collection Platform, WMS, SAP and PowerBI to map information flows matching production line digital demands, design digital conceptual solutions, identify hardware and software required for solution implementation, coordinate key users of corresponding hardware and software to formulate development plans and evaluate resources needed for implementation, and organize relevant reviews to ensure the solutions are business-aligned, technically feasible and cost-controllable.

Qualifications for the role

At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing production line digital solution design, MES implementation or production line digital project delivery, plus 3+ years of on-site IE work experience; experience in motor, machinery, automotive components and other industries is a plus.
  • Proven project experience in on-site improvement, efficiency improvement and cost optimization; able to quickly identify waste points on the production site, propose feasible improvement plans and promote their implementation; possess strong on-site problem-solving capabilities and proficient in applying IE tools to solve practical problems.
  • Proficient in CI tools and methodologies (PDCA, ECRS, 5W1H, value stream mapping, time study, etc.); familiar with Lean Production and 5S management concepts, capable of CI project coordination and CI saving calculation; strong data analysis skills, able to use Excel (functions, PivotTables), PowerBI and other tools for data processing and report generation.
  • Master the full production line process (planning, production, quality, equipment), able to quickly identify digital pain points of production lines, and possess strong demand diagnosis and solution design capabilities; familiar with core functions and application scenarios of digital systems such as MES, SAP, WMS and PowerBI, understand Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and data collection technologies, and able to independently compile and promote the implementation of digital solutions.
