Who We Are

At Yuno, we are building the payment infrastructure that allows all companies to participate in the global market. Founded by seasoned experts from the payments and tech industries, our technology provides access to leading payment capabilities, enabling companies to engage customers confidently and maintain global operations through seamless integrations.

We empower high-performing teams at brands like InDrive, McDonald’s, Rappi, and Viva Aerobus to integrate over 1,000 payment methods via a single API. By leveraging advanced AI and the latest technologies, we orchestrate smart routing and fraud prevention across 80+ countries.

About The Role

The Strategy & Operations Manager sits at the intersection of Yuno’s strategy, product, and execution. This is a high-impact, highly visible role designed for professionals who bring structured thinking from consulting or strategy backgrounds and are ready to operate in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment, reporting to the VP of Product.

You will serve as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and external partners, translating strategy into operational reality across multiple markets. This role demands both 30,000-foot strategic thinking and ground-level execution. You will not just design frameworks; you will own them end-to-end, from problem definition through delivery and iteration.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves with urgency, and is energized by solving problems that sit at the edge of what's been done before.

Your Contribution Will Be

  • Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from scoping and stakeholder alignment to execution and delivery

  • Architect operational workflows and governance structures built to scale, replacing fragmentation and manual effort with clarity and efficiency

  • Continuously diagnose inefficiencies, identify root causes, and implement structured improvements to raise the operational standard across the business

  • Build models, dashboards, and reporting cadences that drive real-time visibility and translate data into clear, actionable decisions

  • Partner with Product Owners and Engineering to coordinate seamless, operationally sound product and payments launches across markets

  • Lead operational components of market entry including readiness assessments, regulatory mapping, and partner onboarding

  • Define what the team focuses on, build the case for resourcing decisions, and set timelines that are ambitious yet operationally grounded

Skills You Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills across global and executive audiences

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, or high-growth startup environments

  • Proficient in data tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python with the ability to translate analysis into business decisions. If not proficient, open to learn quickly.

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream projects and maintain senior stakeholder alignment under pressure

  • Strong structured thinking skills with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into clear, actionable frameworks

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you create structure rather than wait for it

  • Effective cross-functional collaborator across Product, Engineering, Finance, Commercial, and Legal teams

  • High ownership mindset with full accountability from ideation through execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the payments ecosystem including PSPs, acquirers, payment orchestration, or financial services

  • Background from a top-tier consulting firm or fast-scaling technology company

  • Sharp commercial instinct that connects operational decisions to revenue, customer experience, and growth

  • STEM degree or equivalent quantitative background that supports analytical and data-heavy work

  • Naturally curious with an intrinsic drive to question the status quo and push for better outcomes
