- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience as a Supervisor or a Team Leader.
- Self starter with the ability to formulate a project and see it through to its conclusion
- Decision making abilities to create a win, win, win situation in support of the three legged stool (Customer, Investor, People)
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees, and members of management at levels of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Manufacturing Environment: 90% Standing and walking. 10% Administration
Some of the physical demands for the position include frequent lifting of materials, walking, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
CORPORATE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (CMS)
The Company is governed by compliance to a Corporate Management System, prescribing the objectives and procedures related to Employees, Shareholders, Customers, Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental concerns, Preservation of Energy and Corporate Citizenship. Public compliance to the CMS is demonstrated through certification to specific national and international standards (TS/ISO 16949, 14000, etc) either by our customers or external authorities in Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety and Corporate Governance. Certification is preceded by internal and external audits to measure compliance to the documented CMS.
Every associate is required to support all organizational efforts in the area of CMS compliance directly related to their area of responsibility. It is further required to regularly review and understand changes to the CMS, recommend changes to relevant works instructions and to promote and maintain compliance at all times.
