ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a highly motivated Buyer to join our Commercial Procurement team. In this role, you will support procurement activities for key programs, manage supplier relationships, and ensure on-time delivery of critical materials and services. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Purchase Order Management: Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program needs.
- Supplier Coordination: Maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing.
- Problem Solving: Quickly resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, and quality issues to keep projects on track.
- Order Tracking: Monitor and expedite orders to meet deadlines and production schedules.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company goals.
- Data & Process Management: Maintain accurate records, track procurement KPIs, and identify opportunities to streamline processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field
- 2+ years of supply chain experience, including technical procurement
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
