Job Summary
Job DescriptionMcLean Hospital, America's top ranked freestanding psychiatric hospital, is inviting applications for a full-time (40 hours/week) Staff Psychologist at the Klarman Eating Disorders Center at McLean Hospital, located in Belmont, MA. The position will include a concurrent faculty appointment as an Instructor in Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
The Klarman Eating Disorders Center provides world-class treatment for young adult, including cisgender women, transgender women, and non-binary individuals, ages 18-28. Our residential and partial hospital program specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID).
Salary and recruitment package in accordance with Hospital policies, and a Harvard Medical School appointment will be contingent on meeting the requirements for an HMS appointment and candidate qualifications including Massachusetts license.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited university or school of psychology Current licensure (or license eligible) in Massachusetts Completion of an APA-accredited internship Postdoctoral experience in a related field (strongly preferred) Clinical psychology expertise and practice Expertise in DBT, both theory and practice, Experience providing DBT treatment to young adults and families (strongly preferred) Familiarity with complementary evidence-based treatments such as ACT, SPACE, behavioral parent training models, and/or CBT.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Staff Psychologist will be responsible for administering care within the residential and partial structure, including:
Conducting comprehensive psychodiagnostics evaluations, Co-leading DBT groups, Delivering weekly individual and family-based psychotherapy sessions, Co-leading psychoeducation groups, Coordinating treatment planning for patients in partnership with our interdisciplinary team. Providing clinical services for all assigned patients and participating in the activities of the program. Mentoring, teaching, and training doctoral student trainees Contributing to the program's intervention research Participating in professional development activities throughout the hospital and medical school, including committees, teaching, and research
