Job Description

Go-to-Market (GTM) Manager – East Africa

Join FMC, a global leader in agricultural science, and play a critical role in shaping how we bring innovative crop protection solutions to farmers and distribution partners across East Africa.

As our new Go-to-Market (GTM) Manager, you’ll be part of the Africa Marketing team and the key link between marketing, technical, and commercial teams - helping shape local strategy, deliver impactful tools and training, and drive the success of product launches and marketing campaigns from field to channel.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate market and customer insights into local go-to-market strategy
  • Strategic product portfolio alignment and business cases to address market needs
  • Support value proposition initiatives, product launches, campaign rollouts, and digital initiatives
  • Design and deliver training to sales teams, farmers, and distributors
  • Develop and adapt impactful sales tools and materials
  • Align closely with sales, regulatory and development, and digital teams
  • Track performance, gather field feedback, and refine tools and messaging
  • Act as a trusted partner to the commercial team, balancing strategic and hands-on support

Key Requirements

  • A degree in Agriculture or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in the agrochemical/crop protection industry in technical, sales, or marketing roles.
  • Solid knowledge of crop protection sector and farmer needs - crop nutrition knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs for commercial audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into clear actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Willingness to travel within the region, including field visits and occasional office collaboration.
