The Physical Therapist is responsible for examination, assessment, care planning and performing physical therapy treatment. She/he will provide treatment intervention that restores bodily functions and prevents disability following injury or disease. The physical therapist delegates and monitors responsibilities assigned to support staff (RCNA, PTA, Rehab Aide, etc.) and students. She/he will participate in performance improvement activities, and in all mandatory staff education programs. Ensures charge generation as prescribed by business practice.
Requirements:
-Undergraduate/Bachelor's degree required. Masters/DPT preferred.
-New York State License or eligible in Physical Therapy required.
-Experience as a Physical Therapist in a hospital or health care setting preferred.
-Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
Days w/ eo wknd & hols; 1p-7p
Salary: $44.626/hr - $56.495/hr
