- JOB TITLE: Personal Assistant
- SALARY: £30,202 to £41,240 depending on location.
- LOCATION(S): Birmingham, Edinburgh or London
- HOURS: Full Time 35 hours a week. Monday to Friday.
- WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About this Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity in Corporate Institutional Banking (CIB) to join our Chief Operating Office (COO) as Personal Assistant to 2 CIB COO Directors. You'll provide full secretarial and administrative support and play a crucial part in organising their activities to enable them to maximise their contribution to the Group. You'll need to be exceptionally organised, reliable and proactive, you'll thrive in an environment where you're able to prioritise your own workload and work well under pressure.
With your ability to forward plan, you’ll ensure effective use of time, to improve both your own and your director’s contribution to the Group.
The work you’ll be doing
- Business Knowledge - Develop and maintain a knowledge of the business to support business understanding and ensure support is as effective as possible.
- Diary management – coordinate diaries for optimum time effectiveness, planning and prioritising against fast-paced schedules. Including booking meeting rooms.
- Inbox management – effective management of incoming queries – using initiative and judgement to determine priorities and actions.
- Administration support – undertake wide range of support activity, including such tasks as expenses, system approvals, Workday tasks, holiday tracking, resolving IT issues, Recruitment processes.
- Arranging travel requirements – adjusting travel where needed and reviewing team travel reports to ensure adherence to policy and budget.
- Organisation of meetings – assist in organising internal and external meetings
- Flexibility - Be able to be flexible and shift approach to a range of different leadership styles and business processes.
