About the role
Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services has an immediate hiring need for a DevSecOps Engineer in their National Security Practice. Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.
Responsibilities:
- Install, operate, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (Amazon EKS).
- Deploy applications into Kubernetes using Air Force Platform One Big Bang Service (uses Helm charts, Kustomize, and scripts)
- Provide advanced application administration and configuration for DevSecOps tools (GitLab, Coder, Nexus Repository Managment, Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Implement security hardening (e.g. STIG) for operating system nodes and Kubernetes clusters.
- Automate routine operations by developing code scripts that make REST API calls into our DevSecOps tools.
- Strengthen our cloud-based IT OPS through automating configuration of cybersecurity tooling and development of our monitoring system, and Grafana dashboards.
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics OR without a degree have at least 5 years of experience as a DevSecOps engineering.
- 1 year of experience using agile methodologies in the system development life cycle
- 1 year of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code / Configuration-as-Code.
- 1 year of experience with Commercial Cloud Services.
- 1 year of experience with Kubernetes.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Helm
- Experience with GitOps
- Experience with AWS
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI federal security clearance is required
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
