Position Title

Pool Concessions Attendant

Position Summary

The Pool Concessions Attendant provides food and beverage service to members and guests at the pool concession area of a Country Club. This position is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving concession items, maintaining cleanliness, and helping create a positive poolside experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take and prepare food and beverage orders accurately
• Serve snacks, beverages, ice cream, and light meals efficiently
• Operate cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of concession stand, prep areas, and dining spaces
• Restock food, beverages, paper products, and supplies throughout shifts
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and club health standards
• Assist with opening and closing concession operations
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to supervisors
• Support pool staff and management as needed during busy periods
• Maintain a clean and welcoming poolside environment for members and guests

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25–30 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable working outdoors in warm weather conditions

Schedule

• Seasonal part-time or full-time position
• Availability on weekends and holidays may be required
• Flexible daytime and evening shifts during pool season

Preferred Skills

• Experience with food preparation or concessions
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Ability to multitask during high-volume service times

Work Environment

This position works primarily outdoors in a pool and recreational setting with frequent interaction with club members, families, and guests.
