About our property:

The Flamingo Resort & Spa is a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon. The buildings, rendered with natural materials and iconic angular silhouettes, are the work of master architect Homer A. Rissman. Set on a 10-acre campus, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment for guests by cleaning guest rooms and assigned areas in accordance with the standards of Flamingo Resort & Spa. This role ensures the highest level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while supporting the overall operation of the housekeeping department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
  • Make beds, change linens, dust furniture, vacuum floors, and sanitize surfaces.
  • Replenish guest room supplies including toiletries, towels, and amenities.
  • Ensure all rooms are cleaned and inspected according to established quality and productivity standards.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to the Housekeeping Manager or supervisor.
  • Respond to guest requests in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain carts and storage areas in an organized and clean condition.
  • Support team members and assist in other housekeeping duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays based on business needs.

Compensation:

$18.00
