Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and drive execution of key programs within our expanding portfolio. Reporting to the VP of Programs, this role is responsible for ensuring assigned programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the technical and contractual requirements agreed with our customers. The Program Manager provides cross‑functional leadership across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Development, ensuring program baselines remain executable, risks are identified early, and performance is continuously monitored and improved. This role is central to protecting cost, schedule, and margin performance while delivering high‑value solutions to our aerospace and defense customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall program planning, execution, and performance across cost, schedule, technical, and risk domains.
  • Establish and maintain executable program baselines (scope, schedule, cost, and risk) aligned with internal governance and customer requirements.
  • Develop and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), including resource loading, critical path analysis, and cross‑functional integration.
  • Drive day‑to‑day program management and issue resolution with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.
  • Identify risks and opportunities throughout the program lifecycle and lead development of mitigation or exploitation strategies.
  • Prepare executive‑level briefings, program reviews, customer status updates, and internal decision packages.
  • Serve as the primary interface with customers, ensuring transparent communication, expectation alignment, and successful delivery of contract milestones.
  • Oversee cost performance, track Earned Value metrics (as applicable), and maintain accurate EACs to protect program margin.
  • Ensure program deliverables, documentation, and contractual commitments are fully met.
  • Support continuous improvement across PMO processes, tools, and execution standards.
  • Collaborate with Business Development on new opportunities, including scope definition, schedule planning, and transition from capture to execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or other complex technical program environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading programs with cost, schedule, and performance accountability
  • Strong capability in developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules and cost baselines
  • Working knowledge of DoD, SDA, or similar government contracting environments
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams without direct authority
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify downstream impacts and maintain proactive risk management
  • Excellent executive‑level communication skills and experience presenting program status and decision materials
  • High attention to detail and strong process discipline
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with satellite or space‑based mission development
  • Background working with government customers and government program management practices
  • Experience with cost‑constrained or fixed‑price programs
  • Experience in fast‑paced or non‑traditio
