About the role
What you will do
In this role, you will act as the key marketing lead for the Orthopaedics portfolio in Mexico, serving as the bridge between regional strategy and local execution, with a strong focus on Joint Replacement and MAKO. You will drive the implementation of strategic initiatives in one of the priority markets in Latin America, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and enabling sustainable business growth.
Main responsabilities:
- Lead the execution of regional marketing strategies in Mexico, ensuring alignment with business priorities for Joint Replacement and MAKO.
- Act as the primary marketing interface between regional teams, local leadership, and commercial teams to drive market development.
- Develop and implement local marketing plans, including product positioning, pricing strategies, and portfolio growth initiatives.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities to support mid- and long-term strategic planning.
- Support the development of a medical certification hub in Mexico, enabling physician training and adoption of technologies such as MAKO.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to drive commercial execution, ensuring effective use of marketing tools and strategies in the field.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and country leadership to ensure successful execution of business initiatives.
- Analyze business performance and market data to support decision-making and improve overall portfolio productivity.
What you need
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 6 years of experience in marketing, sales, or related roles within the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to support business decisions.
- Experience in product marketing, product launches, or portfolio management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Advanced English.
Preferred:
- MBA or postgraduate degree.
- Experience in Orthopaedics, Joint Replacement or robotics.
- Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
- Experience leading or mentoring team members.
