What will you do

• Lead the production team, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

• Handle recruitment, interviews, conflict mediation, and employee development.

• Plan team availability in line with the production schedule.

• Maintain and monitor production plans, KPIs, visual management, and process standards.

• Report on team performance and progress in routine meetings.

• Supervise work processes, documentation flow, and measurement tools.

• Ensure in-process controls and final product quality meet standards.

• Manage autonomous maintenance and request corrective actions as needed.

• Implement best practices in management with a focus on EHS, quality, cost, and process optimization.

• Oversee the production department’s budget and define its development strategy.

What you need

Required Qualifications

• Higher education in technical or production management filed 

• Min. 5 years of experience in production management

• Experience with CNC machining and/or surface finishing technologies

• Highly developed interpersonal skills with focus on effective communication.  

• Knowledge of modern production management methods – lean manufacturing e.g. TPM, 5S, KAIZEN, etc.

• Knowledge of English at a communicative level

• Knowledge of MS Office

• Ability to think analytically and draw conclusions 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the medical, automotive or aerospace industries

• Knowledge of German or French at a communicative level
