Job Title: Ultrasonographer

Schedule: Per Diem (as needed) M-F 8a-4p
SUMMARY:
Performs high quality Ultrasound imaging. Assists in the daily routines of the ultrasound department. Assists the RN and physician in the performance of interventional procedures. Responsible for the coordination and ongoing evaluation of the daily schedule in fitting in add on exams. Comply with the professional and ethical standards of the American Association of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ultrasound & Imaging Procedures: Performs ultrasound exams per physician orders, assists during procedures, operates x-ray equipment (excluding CT/ultrasound), develops films, and ensures accurate labeling and documentation.
Equipment & Supplies Management: Maintains safe and functional imaging equipment, monitors chemical levels, and ensures adequate supply inventory, promptly reporting any deficiencies.
Training & Patient Care Support: Aids in lifting/moving patients, supports training of students and staff technologists, and ensures quality patient care during procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Registry with ARDMS, CCI or ARRT within 12 months of hire
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program OR Graduate of a two-year allied health education program that is patientcare related, such as radiologic technologist, respiratory therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist or registered nurse with 1 year completion of documented ultrasound clinical experience/employment OR Graduate of a non-CAAHEP accredited ultrasound program with 1 year fulltime documented ultrasound experience

Registered Sonographer with ARDMS, CCI or ARRT

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.

PAY RANGE:
$37.45 - $55.18The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
