About the role

Job Description:

CONTEXT OF THE POSITION

The job holder is mainly under the framework of the established customs compliance process by the manager, establishes operational standards process, supervises the import and export customs declaration and inspection process, establishes and develops customs trade management system, responsible for using the system to deal with import and export daily operation of flying & non flying goods ensuring compliance and timely. 

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Establishes operational standard import & export customs process of flying parts & non flying materials.

Establishes and improves the customs process for new business and special request     business.

Focus the latest customs policies at any time, report to manager timely and make corresponding adjustments to the process.

Prepare documents according to AEO's requirements and in combination with the opinions of the internal audit company.

Support to manager to prepare any documents required by customs during audits and inspections.

Organise the team.

Provide technical support to team members and do trouble shooting.

Validate shipping documents issued by suppliers or internal departments; inform procure department or supplier or internal departments if the documents cannot meet customs requirements. 

  Classify customs tariff number & clarify Chinese name of goods to declare.

  Give instruction and handover documents to forwarder or broker.

  Input import & export declaration data in SAP (PCH) and customs auxiliary declaration system (CTM).

✈  Validate import & export declaration data in the customs management system.

  Maintain and develop customs management system. In charge of digital transformation. Ensure successful BR/plan, implement, integrate, and operate software, continuous system improvement, quality management, problem solving and knowledge transfer.

  Responsible for customs logbook updating.

  Query declaration information in single window.

  Support customs inspection of physical goods (including DG).

✈  Explain customs monitoring regulations to other departments.

✈  File archiving.

✈  Settlement with suppliers providing customs services.

QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENT

Above bachelor degree and CET-4. International trade, logistics management, customs management related majors are preferred.

More than 8 years of work experience related to customs.

More than 5 years of team leadership experience.

Familiar with customs policies related to import and export.

Familiar with the operational mode of customs processing trade logbook.

Have basic knowledge of SAP system.

Familiar with customs management system and single window.

Familiar with the customs logbook discharge process.

Familiar with the HS code classification.

Familiar with the equipment import and export process.

Have basic understanding with air/ sea transportation flow.

Have a strong sense of responsibilities.

Be fluent oral and written in English.

Be able to work under pressure.

Have good interpersonal skill and give sense.

Have good analysis and synthesis skills.
