*** This position must be located in Overland Park, KS; New York, NY; Maitland, FL; Bellevue, WA; or Frisco, TX. This is not a remote role, this is a hybrid schedule requiring at least 3 days a week in office.

The Senior Business Analysis Manager, Data Quality provides strategic leadership for enterprise-wide data quality, governance, and data trust initiatives supporting reporting, analytics, business intelligence, and data product ecosystems. This role establishes the vision, framework, and operating model for data quality management while partnering with senior leaders across technology, data engineering, analytics, and business organizations.
The Senior Manager drives the development of scalable data quality programs, governance controls, and continuous improvement strategies that enable high-confidence decision-making across the enterprise. This leader oversees multiple teams or workstreams, influences enterprise architecture decisions, and ensures data quality principles are embedded throughout the data lifecycle—from source systems to executive reporting and advanced analytics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the enterprise data quality strategy supporting reporting, analytics, data governance, and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Establish data quality operating models, governance frameworks, policies, standards, and key performance indicators across the organization.
  • Partner with senior leaders in data engineering, architecture, reporting, analytics, and business functions to ensure end-to-end data integrity and trust.
  • Provide strategic oversight of data quality controls across data warehouses, data lakes, reporting platforms, and analytical environments.
  • Drive enterprise-level initiatives focused on improving data accuracy, consistency, lineage, transparency, and governance maturity.
  • Lead the evaluation and resolution of complex data integration, migration, transformation, and modernization challenges.
  • Sponsor and oversee large-scale data quality programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities, roadmap objectives, and organizational goals.
  • Champion data quality by design principles within architecture reviews, platform implementations, and analytical solution development.
  • Establish executive-level reporting and scorecards that communicate data quality performance, risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Build strong partnerships across business and technology organizations to influence decision-making and foster a culture of data accountability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop managers, analysts, and data quality professionals while building organizational capabilities and succession plans.
  • Guide resource planning, budget management, prioritization, and strategic workforce planning for data quality functions.
  • Represent data quality leadership in executive presentations, governance councils, steering committees, and strategic planning discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise governance requirements, risk management frameworks, and regulatory obligations.
  • Perform additional duties and strategic initiatives as assigned.


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Data analysis, data science, decision science, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience (Required)
  • 7-10 years Analytics experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches (Required)

    Reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) (Required)

    Advanced analytics, which includes SQL analysis of complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research (Required)

    Experience with Python, R, Go or similar statistics or data science language preferred. (Required)
  • Telecommunications (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $96,700 - $174,400

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
