Job Description:
In order to support the Electrical and Electronic Development Engineering Department, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Junior Electrical Engineer / Architect (d/f/m)
Act as engineer at Equipment and Subsystem level during the life cycle of projects with the electrical engineering perimeter. Gain experience and develop yourself in order to fit a role as Electrical Architect.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Requirements & Specifications: Analysis of customer requirements and creation of consistent specifications across equipment and subsystem levels.
Technical Concepts & Trade-offs: Elaboration of technical concepts and performance of cost-benefit analyses to determine the most effective solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Managing technical relationships, driving negotiations, and leading progress meetings with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Standardized Documentation: Generating technical documentation (e.g., electrical interfaces, technical budgets) in accordance with common space standards (like ECSS) and customer needs.
Design Reviews & Verification: Preparing, conducting, and supporting technical design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.) as well as evaluating verification closeouts.
Risk Management: Identifying and evaluating project risks and defining appropriate countermeasures.
Desired skills and qualifications
Academic Background: University degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a similar relevant field.
Specialized Knowledge: Deeper knowledge in analog and power design, digital design, or space-related communication networks is considered an asset.
Work Approach: A hands-on mentality combined with a structured, proactive way of working and excellent time management.
Adaptability: High flexibility, creativity, and a general willingness to travel for business purposes.
Language Proficiency: Negotiation-level English and a good command of the German language.
Stakeholder Interaction: Determined and clear communication with both internal and external partners, coupled with the ability to assert oneself effectively.
