Your Role & Responsibilities 

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused CDL Driver to support the daily operations of chemical distribution. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of Class 8 tractors and related equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including both liquid and dry products. Responsibilities include performing bulk and packaged deliveries, executing proper loading and unloading procedures, completing required documentation, and ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Brenntag’s safety standards. Your Profile 

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate tractor, trailer, and material‑handling equipment in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and site‑specific regulations.
  • Handle bulk and packaged chemical deliveries, including drums, totes, pallets, and supersacks.
  • Perform equipment inspections, maintain clean and functional vehicles, and use required technology (ELDs, cameras, tracking systems).
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery instructions.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and customer site requirements.
  • Perform general warehouse duties as needed.

Education & Experience 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Class AZ CDL with Tanker/Bulk/Hazmat endorsements (as required).
  • Ability to drive manual transmission; must pass DOT medical exam.
  • TWIC card (or proof of application), if applicable.
  • Prefer 1+ year liquid bulk hauling or 3+ years commercial driving experience.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks and, if required, a forklift.
  • Strong organization, communication skills, and comfort with technology (smartphones, tablets, safety platforms).
  • Must live within 60 miles; must pass background check.

Physical Expectations

  • Pass DOT fit‑for‑duty exam.
  • Ability to sit for long periods, climb ladders, safely enter/exit equipment.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 150 lbs.
  • Wear respirators and required PPE.
  • Perform staging, setup, and breakdown of equipment for loading/unloading tasks.

Other

  • Willingness to work overtime/weekends as needed.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.

Pay: $34-36/hour CAD
