Job Description
Overview:
The Vice President, Global Marketing for Pharmaceutical Systems is a key member of the PS Unit Worldwide Leadership Team (WWLT) and serves as the strategic leader for all marketing activities across the PS business unit.
This role defines and drives the global and regional marketing vision ensuring alignment with business objectives, and is in charge of developing the long-term strategy for the Unit collaborating with Platforms and Commercial teams.
Areas this role will lead include the global marketing community, including regional marketing teams (dotted-line). It also handles Business Intelligence and long-term business planning, Omni-channel Communication, Service, NPS & BD Way of Marketing, and Merge & Acquisition.
The VP Marketing is responsible for elevating marketing capabilities within the business unit and positioning the function as a strategic growth engine that drives competitive advantage for short and long-term success.
Strategic Leadership & Growth
Define and lead the global marketing strategy for PS, ensuring alignment with FY26 priorities and business objectives.
Drive long-term strategic planning, including portfolio evolution, market presence, and inorganic growth through M&A.
Represent PS Marketing on the Corporate Marketing LT, and influence enterprise-level marketing initiatives.
Market Intelligence & Insights
Lead all aspects of Business Intelligence, Market Research and Market Modeling to strengthen Situation Analysis for our 4 therapeutic areas and for Services. Strengthen our ASR processes and ensure the delivery of the ASR partnering with platforms and commercial functions.
Ensure robust competitive analysis and pricing strategies composed by market insights for key categories (Vaccines/Anticoagulants, Biologics, Acute, Stoppers, Service).
Portfolio & Value Proposition
Activate and evolve value propositions, brand positioning, and service strategies to differentiate PS in the marketplace.
Partner with Platforms and R&D to advance Innovation pipeline and New Product Development (NPD) and commercialization success.
Omni-channel Communication & Customer Engagement
Lead global marketing communications strategy, ensuring impactful omni-channel presence and competitive messaging, growing our Share of Voice in the field.
Drive initiatives to improve customer centricity and collaboration across regions and platforms.
Community Leadership & Talent Development
Manage the Marketing community with dotted-line oversight of Global and Regional teams; set priorities and ensure execution in alignment with the good practices of Marketing, to gain in competitiveness.
Own the deployment of the BD Way of Marketing.
Develop marketing talent through stretch assignments, leadership programs, and succession planning.
Develop a culture of innovation, teamwork, and accountability.
