Job Description:

The Product Owner Global at Southwest Airlines serves as the voice of the Customer and plays a pivotal role in shaping technology‑enabled products from concept through delivery. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Product Management, Business stakeholders, and cross‑functional Technology Teams to define priorities, translate vision into actionable backlog items, and ensure solutions deliver meaningful outcomes while maintaining technical integrity. As we continue to grow our Global Innovation Center (GIC) in Hyderabad, we’re hiring Product Owners across multiple Pods and initiatives—each offering the opportunity to drive clarity, influence direction, and bring high‑impact products to life in a fast‑paced, Agile environment. • Agentic AI – ETO Products Pod
The Agentic AI – ETO Products Pod focuses on building intelligent agents that support internal enterprise and back‑office Teams by simplifying workflows and improving operational efficiency across Technology, Support, and Operations. In this role, you’ll drive AI capabilities end‑to‑end—from discovery through production adoption—working closely with technical users, Engineers, and stakeholders across India and the U.S. You’ll define how agentic solutions are measured, shipped, and scaled, using outcome‑driven prioritization to ensure AI products deliver real, observable value while aligning to the metrics that matter in operational environments.
  • AI Platforms Delivery Pod
The AI Platforms Delivery Pod builds the foundational platforms that make AI a scalable, secure, and repeatable enterprise capability. In this role, you’ll own the AI platform product vision and roadmap, turning enterprise strategy into prioritized, consumable capabilities that accelerate adoption across Teams. You’ll balance speed, governance, and cost by creating paved roads—such as templates and golden paths—while partnering with Security, Data, Infrastructure, and Application Teams to drive platform reliability and trust. This role works closely with Data Teams to enable integrations across data lake and data warehouse environments, using adoption, value, and service‑level metrics to guide continuous improvement.
