The Service Desk Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the logistics, inventory, and lifecycle of company computer equipment. This role ensures accurate tracking, preparation, and shipment of hardware while maintaining clear communication with end users and supporting basic equipment maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
● Coordinate the shipping and receiving of computer equipment to and from employees
● Communicate with users to obtain shipping details and follow up on outstanding equipment returns
● Catalog, track, and maintain accurate records of all hardware in the inventory management systems
● Prepare equipment for redeployment, including cleaning, resetting, and secure data wiping
● Perform basic hardware maintenance and quality checks prior to storage or shipment
● Package equipment for shipment and deliver outgoing shipments to designated courier locations
● Ensure inventory records are current, accurate, and compliant with internal standards
● Update tickets to reflect current status of shipments and returns
● High school diploma or equivalent experience
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with end users
● Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
● Basic familiarity with computer hardware (tablets, laptops, peripherals, accessories)
● Comfortable using inventory or tracking systems and basic office software
● Ability to lift, carry, and move computer equipment and packages weighing up to approximately 40 lbs
● Ability to transport equipment to nearby courier locations as needed
Base salary may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus program.
