About this role:

As a Medical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider, you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient‑centered cancer care. In this role, you will provide high‑quality care to adults with cancer diagnoses, including developing treatment plans, managing symptoms, and working closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary oncology team. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments—such as detailed histories and physical examinations—and supporting patients through complex decision‑making and care transitions. Your work will play a key role in ensuring a seamless, compassionate experience for patients and their families.

  • This position includes up to $7,500 in relocation assistance, if applicable

  • Your work schedule will be Monday- Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00pm

  • Practice Location: Intermountain Health LDS Hospital

  • Clinical Responsibilities:

    • Provide clinical support to two physicians in a busy oncology practice

    • Manage chemotherapy clearance and independently evaluate patients

    • Oversee patient care in the absence of the supervising physician(s)

  • Confidently manage patient encounters through telehealth platforms

  • Patient Volume: Average of 7–8 patient visits per day

  • Additional Duties: May include hospital rounding as needed

What you’ll bring:

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program

  • Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline

  • Oncology experience preferred; minimum 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider required

  • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification or willingness to obtain upon hire

  • Demonstrated strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

  • Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

  • We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time
