Internship – Business/Data Analyst (Commercial Marketing - Business Operations)

Become part of a dynamic team within Business Line Analog & Automotive Embedded Systems (AAES), contributing to the digital transformation of Commercial Marketing Business Operations.

In this role, you will support the improvement and automation of the Long-Term Planning (LTP) process, working on data-driven solutions that enable better strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to building scalable analytics and reporting frameworks.

Your Team

You will join the Commercial Marketing Business Operations team based in Nijmegen, Netherlands, supporting the AAES Business Line.

The team is responsible for portfolio management, long-term planning (LTP), design win tracking, and business performance analytics. We work closely with Product Lines, Finance, and Marketing teams to drive data transparency, improve processes, and enable strategic decision-making at Business Line level.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the improvement and automation of the Long-Term Planning (LTP) process
• Analyze existing LTP workflows and identify opportunities for simplification and standardization
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for business performance tracking
• Work with large datasets to support forecasting, funnel tracking, and design win analysis
• Contribute to data modeling, transformation, and validation using Power Query / SQL
• Support integration of data sources (e.g., Databricks, internal systems) into reporting solutions
• Assist in improving data quality, governance, and documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Product Lines and Finance to align on data definitions and reporting logic
• Support ad-hoc analysis and preparation of insights for management presentations

Your Profile

• Master’s student in Business, Data Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field
• Strong interest in data analytics, business intelligence, and process improvement
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts is required
• Familiarity with Python and/or Databricks is a strong plus
• Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is ideal
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with international teams
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Duration 

This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) with a duration of 6 months or longer. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project.

Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
