Data and Automation Engineer

Job Description:

Data & Automation Engineer is responsible for integrating data from multiple platforms and transforming it into actionable insights through BI and AI solutions.
This role focuses on building reliable data pipelines, enabling analytics, and automating reporting for support and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Integrate data from multiple sources:
- Salesforce
- SharePoint (Global Engineering documentation)
- Supplier systems
- Technical support platforms (tickets, Q&A)
Design and maintain ETL / ELT data pipelines.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability across systems.
Implement AI-driven analytics such as:
- Automated insights
- Anomaly detection
- Ticket classification and trend analysis
Automate report generation and data refresh processes.
Work closely with integration and business teams to align data models with operational needs.

Required Technical Skills

Strong experience with data integration and transformation.
Advanced SQL skills.
Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization).
Experience building ETL / ELT pipelines.
Programming skills in Python for data processing or AI use cases.
Experience consuming APIs and working with structured/unstructured data.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical mindset.
Ability to translate data into clear business insights.
Attention to detail and data governance.
Proactive approach to automation and optimization.
