Engineering Project Team Leader – ePowertrain Systems

Position Summary

Lead the development and integration of ePowertrain systems for off-highway battery electric machines (BEM). Serve as both the technical leader and project leader, responsible for delivering battery, motor, X-in-1, charging, and thermal management solutions from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ePowertrain system development and integration for electrification programs.
  • Define system architecture, requirements, performance targets, and technical roadmap.
  • Provide technical leadership on:
    • Battery systems & BMS
    • Electric motors
    • Inverters / X-in-1 systems
    • Charging systems
    • Thermal management
    • High-voltage systems
  • Manage project scope, timing, cost, quality, and technical risks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Systems, Controls, Mechanical, Validation, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Suppliers.
  • Drive design reviews, issue resolution, and program execution through NPI milestones.
  • Support supplier selection and technical evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Vehicle, or related Engineering.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years leading electrification or ePowertrain projects.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Battery systems
    • Electric motors
    • X-in-1 / inverter systems
    • High-voltage architecture
    • Thermal management
  • Good understanding of off-highway machines (HEX, MWL, WBT) and machine integration.
  • Proven project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Experience managing complex global engineering programs.
