We are seeking a detail-oriented and business-focused Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst with strong experience in rebate analysis, finance analytics and financial reporting. The role will support strategic decision-making through financial planning, analytics, cost optimization, and pricing insights, working closely with Procurement, Commercial, and Operations teams. The ideal candidate combines strong financial modelling skills with a solid understanding of f inancial strategies, supplier economics, and pricing/rebate structures to drive profitability and cost eAiciency.

Location : Bangalore

Qualification : BCom/ M com/MBA or CA/CMA

Experience : 8-10 years of experience / 3-5 years PQE for CA/CMA Position

Overview: This role is responsible for financial analysis related to accruals, spend tracking, and supplier rebates. This role will focus on analysing contract-driven spend, mapping rebates to Marmon entities, and identifying opportunities to leverage Marmon preferred suppliers over individual entity suppliers. The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.

Mandatory Skills

  • Analyze accruals, actual spend, and rebate programs to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecast alignment
  • Review and validate rebate calculations, ensuring proper mapping and allocation across Marmon entities
  • Partner with Procurement and Finance teams to track, reconcile, and optimize rebate income
  • Review supplier contracts and commercial agreements to analyze spend patterns, rebate terms, and compliance
  • Conduct detailed spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and pricing
  • Support evaluation of preferred supplier programs, comparing Marmon-preferred suppliers versus entity-specific suppliers
  • Provide financial insights to support decisions on supplier consolidation and sourcing strategies
  • Ensure rebate and spend data accuracy within financial systems and reporting tools
  • Prepare management reports highlighting rebate performance, spend variances, and procurement savings

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of FP&A experience (B.com/M.com/MBA) or 3-5 years (CA/CMA), preferably with demonstrated experience partnering with Procurement and Rebate teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reporting) and familiarity with Microsoft and BI tools.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Business stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, self-driven mindset with a continuous improvement approach
