Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical parts and components into finished products or subassemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Use hand tools, small power tools, and other specialized assembly equipment safely and effectively
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions to ensure accuracy and quality
- Reassemble, adjust, or rework units as required to correct defects or meet specifications
- Inspect assembled parts and completed units to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Comply with all safety, quality, and productivity requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of training and relevant mechanical assembly experience
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Experience using hand tools and small power tools in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Ability to read basic assembly drawings or schematics
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong teamwork skills and a reliable work ethic
Working Conditions
- Work is typically performed in a manufacturing or production environment
- May involve repetitive tasks, standing or sitting for extended periods, and handling small components
Compensation Information:
$19.00/hr
